Our academic program is based on the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Louisville that prepares students for admission to Catholic secondary schools. Nativity Academy has accreditation in the state of Kentucky as a non-public school. All facets of the academic program are taught in single-sex classes. In addition to the core academic subjects, our experiential learning component includes field trips, workshops, and guest speakers. At Nativity Academy, all students take: language arts, mathematics, religion, foreign language, physical education, science, social studies, literature, health, computer skills and the arts. |

Extended Day/Year Program |

The Extended Day Program is a requirement for all students. It includes both an hour of supervised study hall or tutoring, if needed, and an hour of enrichment activities. A typical day begins at 7:45AM and continues until 6PM. Because of this extended day, the Academy provides students with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.A Mandatory Summer Program provides continuity in academic studies and additional opportunities in sports, arts and crafts, and field-trips in our community. |

The Graduate Support Program is designed to support Nativity Academy graduates through high school and into a post secondary education. All activities are facilitated by adult staff, mentors, and volunteers who have positive relationships with program participants and their families. We help our students build competencies inside of the academic arena and outside of the academic arena. We teach them how to create positive relationships within their high schools, with their families, and inside their communities. |
