Nativity Academy at St. Boniface provides a safe, structured environment for inner-city girls and boys in their middle grades. Students are admitted at the 6th or 7th grade level, and enrollment is limited to 12 boys and 12 girls at each grade level. The maximum enrollment for Nativity Academy is 72 students. The Nativity Academy personnel are comprised of a full-time faculty and committed volunteers. Each serves as an adult role model dedicated to providing motivation and support. They encourage students to become responsible family members, who are productive in society and leaders throughout their lives.

| Students are chosen by school staff for admission based on: • completion of application forms, • testing, • a family interview, and • participation in a summer program. Nativity Academy focuses on families whose children are fully eligible for the federal meal program. |

Current 5th grade students, who wish to enter Nativity Academy in the 6th grade, may apply to be accepted for the 2010-2011 school year. Current 6th grade students, who wish to enter Nativity Academy in the 7th grade, may apply to be accepted for the 2010-2011 school year. Current 7th grade students are not eligible to apply to Nativity Academy. |
